This property situated close to the village, a few minutes walk away with access to shops, bars, restaurants etc. The house is East/West facing, meaning plenty of sun during the day, a large porch at the rear of the property receives the afternoon sun, there is a built in bar, BBQ, large 27m2 covered swimming pool meaning it can be used up to five or six months of the year, also with a new filtration system recently fitted, this is all set in 4273m2 of fenced land (ideal for dogs) spread over three terraces, planted with around twenty different varieties of fruit trees, including, olive, chirimoya (custard apple), Avocado, Persimmon, Mandarin, Orange and Lemon. etc. The whole land is set up with a drip irrigation system making it easy to maintain.
The house has a large garage to one side which is attached to the main part of the house this already has a bathroom and therefore could easily be converted into a large fourth bedroom with an ensuite, ideal for elderly parents or visitors. Another room off the garage is the Bodega "wine store" it has all the equipment in place to make wine from the grapes that grow on the property.
Into the ground floor of the house, a large open plan room with kitchen, dining and sitting area with fireplace. Windows to both aspects making it a light bright space. Stairs lead up to the first floor where there are three bedrooms, family bathroom. One of the bedrooms has French doors leading out onto a lovely large terrace overlooking the land of the property and towards the village. There are air conditioning units in the living room and the three bedrooms which can provide hot or cold air.
Outside there is a large building which was built for a motorcaravan, which is great for storage or as a garage.
Mains water, electricity are connected. Internet is available from several local suppliers. Water for irrigation of the land is through the Communidad de irrigantes, along with another supply from a shared spring, which in the last forty years has never dried up.
Located on the left bank of the Río Guadalfeo, at the foot of Los Guájares and the Sierra de Lújar, Vélez de Benaudalla is set in beautiful natural surroundings. We highly recommend exploring the valley of the Río de la Toba, which separates the Sierra de Chaparral from Los Guájares. We also recommend a visit to the Garganta de los Vados, in the gorge of the Río Guadalfeo, a great place for rock climbing. At weekends experienced climbers gather here to practise. The beaches of the Costa Tropical are just 10 minutes away by car. Malaga Airport one hour fifteen minutes away.
